Cater2.me is a startup that connects chefs, food trucks, pop-ups, and top local food with offices and startups in the Silicon Valley and now, New York. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in San Francisco, the company has served 800,000 meals in less than two years feeding the most well-known companies in Silicon Valley. Inspired by San Francisco's thriving farmers' markets and the abundance of passionate local chefs, Cater2.me revamped catering by opening up access to the amazing wealth of local gourmet food.

Zachary Yungst

Zach grew up in Sarasota, Florida before attending Penn’s Wharton School. Post graduation, Zach worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and in private equity for TPG in San Francisco. Zach’s knowledge of San Francisco’s catering scene and passion for business led to the formation of Cater2.me. When not working, Zach is an exercise junkie with a serious sweet tooth.

Alex Lorton

Alex is a native Ohioan and graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He worked in New York as a strategic management consultant for Oliver Wyman, focusing on Technology and Operations, for four years before relocating to San Francisco to co-found Cater2.me. Outside the office, Alex is an accomplished marathoner who can’t say no to a carb-heavy meal.
