Aalap Shah

Aalap Shah is an entrepreneur at heart and has been executing since the age of 16 with his first venture as a small online hobby retailer. Since then, Aalap went on to obtain his CPA, work as a consultant, and at 23, open up his first storefront: a toy store that quickly turned to two locations. After successfully selling his stores 5 years later, Aalap co-founded SoMe Digital Media and works with a variety of both Fortune 100/500 clients and local Chicago businesses on digital marketing campaigns. He also serves on the auxiliary boards for Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship and the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy. And has been honored with NFTE's Lowell B. Mason Exemplary National Volunteer of the Year 2013 award as well as many others. Aalap lives in the heart of downtown Chicago and is married with a two-year old daughter.

Madhavi Rao

Madhavi Rao is a first-time entrepreneur. She co-founded SoMe Digital Media in 2012. Prior to SoMe, Madhavi lead teams for both Fortune 100/500 companies as well as leading middle market companies. Madhavi focuses on operations at SoMe. Prior to SoMe, Madhavi was a management consultant. She and her husband live in Atlanta where she is working on creating a second SoMe location.
