This not only stands for their creative flavor combinations, but also represents founder Justin Anderson's desire to help other kids and young adults dream big. Anderson set his sights on entrepreneurship at the age of 16, founding his first successful venture into the food market with Anderson Trail Premium Soft Granola. The WOATS Oatsnack brand of indulgent snacks launched in March 2013 and is not available in over 1,500 retailers from coast-to-coast including Target, Super Target, The Fresh Market, Kroger, and HEB Central Market.

Justin Anderson

Founder & President

Justin’s love affair with the humble oat began at an early age. He enjoyed snacking on granola but the crunchy stuff was tough on his braces. Craving a softer snack, he took over his Mom’s kitchen, mixed together some oats, honey and nuts and after several batches baked up the perfect recipe. It was such a huge hit with his friends that he borrowed $500 from his grandmother and by the time he was sixteen had started a company. Justin was raised in humble circumstances by his mom and grandparents who always supported his education and encouraged him to follow his dreams. Thanks to their unconditional love, a lot of hard work and a little luck, Justin is fortunate today to be able to do his thing and share his story with kids across America. Justin is a Horatio Alger National Scholar and an Eagle Scout.
