Chris Koerner

Owner/Founder

I am married with 3 kids and live in Huntsville, Alabama. I founded a small chain of repair shops in college that I sold last year. In January of 2013 I launched a new company called LCDcycle (LCDcycle.com). We help stem the growing tide of electronic waste by recycling iPhone LCD screens to be reused again. We are also wholesale distributors of smartphone and tablet parts to repair shops all over the world. After only 17 months in business we have eclipsed $4,00,000 in sales and employ 9 employees, 4 full time and 5 part time. Currently we are doing over $600k in monthly sales and are on pace to hit $7 million in our second year. So far we have recycled over 140,000 iPhone screens, which would have otherwise been thrown in the landfill. We are growing around 20% per month.
