Summit Lawns is a lawn and landscape maintenance company. We do not design or build new landscapes, but rather take care of what is already in place. Services include mowing, fertilization/weed control, shrub pruning/shaping, aeration, overseeding, bed weed control, mulch installation, flower pot arrangements, leaf removals, and more. At the heart of the Summit Lawns business culture is a formal value system which guides us toward our goals of becoming Lincoln’s premier landscape management company. These values are driven by a desire to exceed expectations in everything we do in a manner that is both ethical and efficient. I started Summit Lawns as a sophomore in high school to pay for my school bill. During my time at Union College (grad. ’13), I landed my first $10,000+ commercial account at the age of 20 and began considering Summit Lawns as a career move. We have since landed very high profile accounts such as Gateway Mall, Lincoln’s largest shopping center. I’ve pushed lofty revenue goals to double the company every year since I was 20 from $55,000 in 2011 to ~$400,000 in 2014. Outside of work, I am a huge music fan, listening and playing. When my work season slows down in the winter, I enjoy snowboarding in Colorado. I’m also an avid fan of stand-up comedy. I believe in surrounding yourself with people who have succeeded in the way you wish to succeed. Learn from their mistakes, seek wisdom, and keep a positive attitude.
