Kate S. McAleer is an owner and founder of Bixby & Co., located in Rockland, Maine. As a member of the inaugural women’s varsity golf team of New York University, Kate was frustrated by the lack of healthy and delicious snacks available on the links to restore her energy on the course. Kate earned her honors BA from New York University in 2009, having majored in East Asian Studies and minoring in French and Art History. Kate first earned certificates in culinary arts from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
